What finish should I buy - matte or glossy?

Great question!

You should buy a MATTE sticker if...

• You don't need the sticker do be ultra-durable and waterproof
• You are just using this sticker for indoor use, such as a laptop, tumbler, or fridge.
• You want a sticker that will somewhat "blend in" with the surface it is on. Our matte sticker has a soft satin appearance with a very low sheen, so you won't notice any "shininess" with the sticker.
• Note: Our matte stickers are still very durable, and you can certainly still use them for outdoor applications, such as your car, so you may still go with whichever finish you prefer. The matte stickers will naturally begin to fade after years out in the sun, and they aren't quite as waterproof as our glossy finish.

You should buy a GLOSSY sticker if...

• You want the sticker to be ultra-durable and waterproof. Our glossy stickers are extra durable compared to our matte finishes. Note: Both our matte and glossy finishes are still definitely okay for outdoor use, but our glossy finish adds an extra level of protection.
• You are using this sticker for heavy outdoor use, such as your car or skateboard.
• You want a sticker that will really "pop". Our glossy stickers have extra contrast, so the colors are bolder and more defined than the matte finish. They also have a slight shine to them when the light catches them.
